PRIVACY: "Big Brother" does not work here! Information about our customers, or those who visit our site, or those who contact us, are not shared with any other company, with the following exception:

If you contact us and request information about a product or service offered by another company, such as point of sale systems, or store design, we will forward your request for information on to the company we believe can best fulfill your needs. When asked, we often recommend the products or services of Digital Retail Solutions, Retail Design Associates, and Russell & Miller Merchandising. However, this is only initiated upon your request. Otherwise, we will not share your e-mail address with other companies when you contact us about our products and services.

SHARING CUSTOMER INFORMATION: We will never, ever share information, financial or otherwise, supplied to us when you order products through our web site. All information, including your e-mail address, physical address, and all phone numbers, stay within our company.

COOKIES: Our site was intentionally designed to be Cookie-free. We have no control over the use of Cookies by secure, on-line shopping cart feature on our site. We do not actively "track" people who visit or explore our site after their visit.

SECURITY: We regard information volunteered to us by you as confidential. If you use our online ordering system, your credit card is processed through a secure gateway which encrypts the data and assigns a Transaction Number to your order. When we view this data to process your order, we are only be able to see the last four digits of your credit card number and the expiration date. Anyone able to breach the security of this server will only see that partial data as well, so your full credit card number is protected.

PRIVATE AREAS: A select few pages of our site contain trade secrets and/or copyrighted designs. These are not pages for "public" perusal, and Smart Retail Solutions, Inc. reserves the right to deny access to the private pages at its sole discretion. In order to gain access to those private pages, you, the site user, will need to fill out a form and agree to a statement regarding proper use and behavior when viewing those private areas. You can choose to not fill out the form, but will need to contact Smart Retail Solutions, Inc. in writing if you would like to be considered for access to the private pages in question. Information supplied by you, the site user, will not be used for sales purposes, but if improper use, abuse, or behavior inconsistent with the statement you submit occurs, all information may be used in order to contact the individual believed responsible for the breach (either the user listed on the form, or any other identified party). Smart Retail Solutions, Inc. reserves the right to use all avenues legally available to protect and defend its unique designs from copyright infringement of any kind.

ORDER TERMS: Shipping not included in prices. Software and in-stock items are shipped Priority Mail, unless you request otherwise. Minimum order $25. Virginia orders will be charged 4.5% tax. In order to protect our customers from possible credit card fraud, we require Address Verification (AVS) on all North American credit card orders. If billing information for the card does not match up with the information you supplied us with, we may require further information, or suggest an alternate method of payment in order to fulfill your order. Non-US orders will only be shipped to the billing address of the credit card used for the order. Please use the "Comments" box at checkout to expedite shipping or make special requests. We make every effort to keep our web site up-to-date, but we reserve the right to make price changes as necessary, whether due to mistakes on our web site, shopping cart miscalculation, item availability, or price changes in general. Please be sure the phone and e-mail address you provide us is correct. We will not contact you unless we had trouble verifying your credit card information or your address, or we have a question about your order, or to inform you about out-of-stock status. Credit card charges will appear as Smart Retail Solutions, Roanoke VA. Please read our Return Policy below before you order.

RETURNS: Please either e-mail or call us first so we can best serve your needs.
If you made a mistake and ordered software or card stocks you no longer want, return UNOPENED ITEMS to us (postage paid) via either UPS Ground or US Postal Service (either Certified, Registered, or Return Receipt for Merchandise). We will credit your credit card for the unopened merchandise you return, minus the shipping costs. Sorry, no returns on close-out merchandise.

If we made a mistake and sent you the wrong items, return UNOPENED ITEMS to us (postage paid) via only UPS Ground or US Postal Service (either Certified, Registered, or Return Receipt for Merchandise). In the event of an even exchange, we will ship the correct merchandise at our expense, and will refund the postage you paid in returning the items (refunded either by check, or by crediting your credit card). In the event of a return, we will credit your credit card for any unopened merchandise you return, as well as the postage you paid in returning the items. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN MERCHANDISE UNLESS YOU INTEND TO KEEP IT. Software: you may open the box, but do not break the seal of the sleeve which contains the software disk(s) and/or CD-ROM. If Smart Sign System or Monotype Font disk(s) were damaged in transit or you are unable to install from the disk(s), we will replace the defective disk(s) at our expense, providing they are returned within 60 days of receipt.
